I find the Institute as fully devoted to the cause of numismatic studies under the inspiring leadership of Dr. P. L. Gupta and Mr. K. K. Maheshwari. It has several unique features not shared by other academic bodies concerning numismatics. I am sure that in course of a few years it will become a place of study which none of the numismatists and historians devoted to Indian studies will be able to avoid. By its virtue it will become their place of pilgrimage.
